Puppies and Spring... sigh.....

I have been absent for quiet a while from the blog world..ok so I have only done two entries in my entire life, but I can call myself a blogger...right? So life has been swirling around us and most days I feel I am hanging on by my fingernails. Most of my Crazies have come from the six new additions to our family these past few months!
We have had a litter of six puppies in February (all of which are gone, whew)! I now refer to myself as the midwoof! I loved every second of the puppy process and was very surprised at how much I did enjoy it. We will probably have another litter next summer and I (and my dog Maya) will retire from the midwoof profession.
I put some pictures up of my puppies, they were so fun to shoot!
Enjoy, I sure did!

New, New, New!

The new decade, the new year, the new month... All is supposed to be new. I love fresh starts and new beginnings, but part of me wants to hang on to the old. I love old photographs, old traditions, old friendships and old memories.

Yesterday I found myself thinking ahead thru the winter season and picking out things to look forward to in each month. Before I realized, I had myself to June already. I thought, Wow, I just survived the winter..... How much am I missing in each day?

Sooooo for the new year I want to rest in the every day, to sit with it and enjoy the moments as they happen, so I can continue to make new memories to look back on. (and have a camara close by to capture it!)

"Be still, and know that I am God!" Psalm 46:10

Blessings in the new year,

The Christmas count down...

At my dear sister in laws urging, Lotta Love Photo is now the proud owner of a cute-as-a button, shiny, brand new BLOG! So fun!
We have been frantically getting out Christmas card and photo orders just in time for the big day. I think we got all of them done..(I hope so).
This Christmas has snuck up on me this year, and all though the shopping is done, I have had a hard time slowing down to remember the reason we celebrate Christmas. Soooooo...... as the still small voice reminds me, I am readjusting my focus and remembering the sweet beautiful baby that left Glory to be born in a stinky barn to rescue me and show me all the beauty this life has for me.
Have a sweet and memorable Christmas!
Blessings, Amy Jo
